I absolutely hate painting, it's the worst job for me.
And I've gone and painted my living room and it's not gone great
As you can see in the photos, the wall looks fine looking straight on, but looking at an angle in certain lights you can see loads of patches, I tried painting over the previous patches specifically aiming for them, and it just created even more patches!
Some info...
Good condition dry wall between bedroom and living room.
Was already painted magnolia.
2 coats used (and then my extra patches to cover the other patches).
Leyland Matt emulsion used.
Was a brand new Harris microfibre roller.
Strangely, the opposite wall was a light brown colour and the magnolia has gone on that wall just fine! I would have thought brown would be harder to cover with magnolia, than magnolia on magnolia lol.
Any advice please? I still have 30% of the paint left in the tub. Thanking you!
