Patio Door Making A Screeching Noise?

Hi,

Recently my patio door has started making a screeching sound when you open and close it. I’ve lubricated the bottom numerous times but it it only works for a short period of time before it starts happening again.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what it might be or how it can be fixed please?

There is a very high pitched squeak/squeal.
If you are older 50+ (as I am), quite common that you can't hear high pitched noises.

Google suggests PTFE lubricant for patio doors.

Did you lift the door out and lubricate the bearings of the wheels, or just the track grooves?

Have you washed out the dirt and grit?
