Having trouble removing the 2nd sliding patio door. 1st came out by removing the 2 plastic inserts at the top of the door (see attached). I’ve managed to remove 1 of these on the second door but the other is positioned behind a metal ridge that runs top to bottom on the door (the part which fits into the other door ...). This ridge is also where I removed the long silver metal plate from.
Also at the bottom of this ridge, there is a screw visible about 2 inches under the door but it just turns and won’t release.
Hope this is making sense!
is there any way to remove this metal ridge thing? It can be lifted 1/2 inch but then drops back into place. There are a couple of broken screws still in it but they move up/down with the ridge.
Can’t see any way to access this top black plastic part of the ever turning screw at the bottom or remove the long metal ridge and it’s driving me nuts!
