Hi, I am looking to build a patio off the house, but the lawn area is lower than that of the finished patio height by 20cm. Is there any specific method for retaining the patio/mot1 along this edge? I've been racking my brains, but can only think of either:
A couple of courses of brick (how deep would footings need to be for something like this?), or...
Maybe a 600x600 x 50mm concrete slab on it's side, with bottom 300mm set in concrete?
I would be really grateful for any input on this one please.
