Hello,

My patio is in need of a good clean, each year around summer I give it a good clean with my pressure washer but there’s always spots it cannot clean.

I found this product https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hypochlori...8&psc=1&mcid=435ea50bd0c43e5594c2ba7c0ebe2608 and seems to be the business.

As I’ve never used it has anyone else used on these and is it safe?, not sure what type of tiles they are, I think it’s sandstone

I know it works but you have to be careful with pets and children and wear protective clothing. Google instructions for use before you buy it. It won't stop it coming back again next year though.

Hello, thanks for your reply.

Children no, pets yes.

What i'm thinking of doing is clean it normally with my pressure washer, then the next day use the hypochlorite and agitate with a brush.

Now this is the bit i'm not sure at, I assume after i've agitated it, I then pressure washer off again and is it a case of once dry my dog can walk on it, or leave it at least 24 hours after drying for him to have a wonder?

Thanks

Hypochlorite is just bleach and it stinks just like bleach. I used it a couple of years ago on black mold that seems to collect on the ground around here. It did clear the vast majority of the mold but it all came back the next year. I now just use my pressure washer. That doesn't stink and does a better job. There are a couple of youtube vids that compare various chemical cleaners, including hypochlorite, and pressure washing. The ones I watched all came down on the side of the pressure washer.
