Pigeon nest in fascia?

Hi.

I need to throw away the wood bits as pigeons have started nesting and giving birth there.
I would like mine to look like my neighbour's UPVC fascia.

I have been quoted a grand for the work. Does this sound reasonable?

Compare with other roofers/builders in your area. 1k does seem a bit harsh based on your structure.

Yes, I know peigeons are not mammals. The damn thing is cooing and most likely about to lay eggs.

I have asked three. All want a grand! Scaffolding is cheap though at £350.

I wasn't suggesting that you don't know they are not mammals.
I asked because it's not the kind of place that pigeons build nests.

What should I do here now?
If I could somehow beat the bird out of it's comfortable zone and then glue a cover, I would be done.
