PIV in Loft Conversion crawl space

Hi, was hoping for some advice

We are in a 1930s semi which has always struggled a bit with moisture and is very prone to mould forming. We are currently having a loft conversion done and it prompted me to think about solutions. Once seems to be PIV however we are obviously losing the majority of our loft. There is a crawl space as pictured and I was wondering if anyone had experience or opinions on whether it would work if placed in this crawl space.
