Good evening fellow DIY degenerates!
I am trying to fit a plaster of Paris fireplace surround but can’t see any obvious fixing points or bracketry. As it is made of plaster of Paris it is quite fragile, therefore I’m nervous to drill into it. It will be going onto a freshly boarded and skimmed chimney breast.
My current thought process is to use adhesive on the outside edge and hold it firmly against the wall. Does anyone know if this will be sufficient to hold it firmly?
I’ve attached some photos to hopefully aid understanding.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Matthew
