Plaster turned exposed cement pink!

Hiya I have removed plaster from a cement ceiling hoping to get natural exposed look but its all discoloured pink is there anything I can do to return it to a natural grey cement colour please?

You could try to etch-it clean with Brick acid. Be very careful with it though, take all the precautions and then some. You only have to look at recent media to see the harm it can do when splashed on to skin or eyes. Working overhead and in an enclosed space being particularly hazardous.
