Hi all,

I have had some moisture/dampness issues in my conservatory on the only solid wall.

I believe this has been caused by the cold temperatures in the conservatory in winter (next winter I'll just need to keep the room better heated and get a humidifier I think).

The room has three external walls, one is a solid wall and the other two are doors/windows.

The solid wall is in a state, but my question is whether I need to basically get the wall replastered or whether I can try and repair what is there already?

Thanks for any help you can offer!
Cheers

Condensation behind picture because of no movement in the air at that point?

Heat is not the answer. That causes moisture to evaporate only to dump on cold surfaces like windows or outside walls.
Best to limit creating moisturise and use a dehumidifier.
We dry washing with dehumidifier and use extractors in bathroom and kitchen.

Yeah. Sand off areas. Make good and paint. Don't hang picture on outside wall

Thanks for the advice! When you say make good, does that mean after sanding I would use a thin layer of plaster before painting?
