Possible exhaust problem

I have a Fiat Brava 1.6sx. Registered in 1998.

The exhaust looks like it has dropped an inch though it still seems intact. The car now makes a loud rumbling noise when travelling at slow speeds in first gear.

I know the exhaust is the likely problem but a quick look under the car does'nt reveal anything obviously wrong.

Could somebody please give me an idea of what they think has gone wrong?

Start it up and look underneath. Is there any vibration?

Check the rubber mountings that hold the exhaust onto the car?
