My property has power polls running along the side of it parallel to the road where i gain access. I called the power company and they said it would cost nothing for them to install a meter.

I want to use the power to just run a trailer i have on the property for now, and then later down the road in 10 years or so maybe build a house.

I want to bury the power line but I don't know what kind of wire I need and if I need to but in a junction box? Also do I need a shed to cover any electrical parts that I may need?

Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

You really need to find a canadian forum, while we try to give some advice to foreigners we aren't experts on non-uk practice and this is the sort of thing that varies a lot arround the world.

UK power companies usually have sections on their websites for new connections / property developers giving the technical information for those parts of the work that builders can do themselves.

Possibly your power company has similar.
