I have a click lock type laminate floor (bevel loc from B&Q, about 12 years old) that has a few damaged planks. The worst ones are in the middle, of course. I do have a couple of boxes of extra planks but not enough to redo the whole room.
Originally the idea of being able to replace planks was a selling point for this kind of floor, but how successful is it in reality to disassemble the floor and put it back together?
