Putting Captions on sdd card videos

Hi

What soft ware do I need to put captions on previously recorded sdd card videos? is this possible?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

If you're using Windows then get Windows Movie Maker which is free, and has the ability to add captions. It's fairly simple to use.
 
If you are using Windows 7, movie maker is not included in the install as it was with previous versions. It is part of "Windows Essentials" Google that and download the installer from Microsoft. It will give you a choice of several programs to install, just select the one you want.

You will of course, need to be running Linux.

That's not really a problem because you can download and burn (as an IMAGE) a live dvd that you can boot off and you will have HEAPS of FREE awesome multimedia software you will be able to use and it wont alter a windows install one iota

It's muted coz the gits @ google didn't like the Star Wars music theme I used so muted the whole shooting match !!
