Hi

Wondering if you can help and simplify this as Im confused about the Zones\Areas and night mode.

Here are the list of sensors:
Front Door Contact
Back Door Contact
Back Window Contact
Front Window Contact
Front RM PIR
Extension PIR
Upstairs PIR

Can someone help me what Zones\Areas i need to assign for each sensor, A or B?

What I want to achieve is All door and window contacts I want to Arm in night mode. The PIR will be disabled

On full Set\Arm, I want to Enable ALL sensors.

Any Help appreciated

(also conncted to UDL software to ease programing)

THanks

Hi - I'm in the process of setting mine up today and I wanted to achieve something similar.

Here's what I believe you need to do - others on the forum please correct me or enrich this if required as I'm a newbie! :)

Set all sensors to zones A and B except for the PIRs, leave those only on zone A.
Front Door Contact = A, B
Back Door Contact = A, B
Back Window Contact = A, B
Front Window Contact = A, B
Front RM PIR = A
Extension PIR = A
Upstairs PIR = A

As a result:
- When you set zone A, every device arms.
- When you set zone B, every device except for the PIRs arm.

we should wait for someone more experienced to confirm if this is correct. If it is incorrect then it will help me out too...

Cheers

Are you setting via radio fob or using keypad ?
Do you walk through any sensors to get to the keypad while setting and in setting ?
Chime creates an audible tone when a device is triggered. Should only be used with door contacts
Omit mean a device can be isolated during a setting period
Soak puts device into a test/monitor mode
Double knock means device needs to be triggered twice in specific time window
The other meanings you would not need unless if a specific purpose

setting via key fob
dont walk through other sensor for setting the alarm
the other bits makes sense now
