Hi.
Noob here and first post.
I've been using the forum for information as I've just installed the the enforcer alarm. First time installing an alarm. Finally got it all working but have 2 questions that I can't find answers to.

Can the shock sensors only be programmed to do either shock or contact but not both? I thought they they could do both simultaneously.

Is there a way to get the remote keypad backlight on or to come on when the alarm detects entry? At the minute there are no lights at all apart from A when arming or the status LEDs when the alarm is triggered. I appreciate if its left on permanently the battery will quicker.

Thanks

Thanks gents.
I was able to programme the shock sensor to do both but had to space out the small contact on the opening part of the window from the contact on the frame. Allowing for clearance for the window to open, they are to far apart so is doesn't pick up the window opening. They are just shy of 30mm apart. Is this a common issue with upvc windows.

I couldn't get the remote keypad to light up but will live with it. Have since read on here that pyronix leds aren't that great and go dim after a while so will leave it be.

One other question...I have hard wired the bellbox. I was wondering if the battery was plugged in, would it then act as a back up or would it fry the circuit due to too much voltage?

Cheers

Issue with the shocks doesn’t seem right. Do you have a photo

Quick update...the alarm has been up and running now for nearly 4 weeks and is all ok apart from the occasional false alarm from the kitchen back door setting the alarm off now on 3 separate occasions. The door is a double opening glazed french door. The sensor is doing both shock and contact. When triggered its always the shock causing the alarm. So far it has only happened on night set. Checking the CCTV there is never anything externally causing the alarm. I was wondering if there is ever the rouge faulty sensor?

Check and re- calibrate the shock sensor.
How did you calibrate the sensor when first installed.
Did you bang the door hard with your thist or did you tap around the door with a screwdriver handle?
The latter should have been done.
If you did not calibrate the shock when installed, it will be on high sensitivity.
Also post photo of device fitted to door.
