I've read lots of these posts and most have been done to death but i've still not managed to get myself a solution.
I'm looking for a system in a new home. Wiring is in place for PIR's, bell and keypad but everything else i.e window and door sensors would need to be wireless.
I also have an outhouse and a couple of sheds which I would like on some form of perimeter/part arms pretty much 24/7 unless we go out to use them.
then I'd want the downstairs all perimetered at night (probably just all doors/windows/shock sensors; but not PIR's; the house is fairly open plan and we have kids who like to go down in the middle of the night)
I have had the HKC 1070 in the last house and while it was a great hybrid ; I wasn't a fan of its inflexibilty - e.g. only 2 part arm options; one of which I made a perimiter.
Now i've seen some of the other systems with more flexibility in setting alarms and perimiters; zoning etc. (albeit seems like its an app function and maybe not so easy from keypads)
So, im leaning towards a hybrid system again, wired PIR, bell, keypad, wireless everything else
I've narrowed down to the pyronix euro and the texecom premier; any new (2022) opinions on these systems; have niggles with the texecom part arm and battery issues been solved? Any others you'd recommend instead?
are both the pyronix euro and texecom premier 2 way wireless?
i'll be DIY'ing - managed it fine with the HKC, which I took over after install from a specialist
