I have a JVC audio disc player that seems only to accept ISO DVDs. Would be grateful for advice on simple way to convert my MP3s/WAVs to ISO

Do a Goooogle search, there are many conversion programs out there, that is a conversion I have never needed.

OK. I have a CD which I made up some time ago which plays on the JVC MX-D2T. "Properties" displays this file as CDFS, I can't remember what I used to convert it from MP3 to this format. After a search it looks like some form of ISO file, but how did I get it there! Have been looking at Power ISO??

At a guess, you made the old CD on Windows XP machine, or maybe even something older?

There's some appropriate info regarding CDFS in this thread: https://www.makeuseof.com/answers/how-can-i-read-these-cdfs-mp3-disks/

Googling for "MP3 to CDA" gives me a list of options including Windows Media Player as a way to burn a new CD audio disc.

If this or any other reply was helpful to you, then please do the decent thing and click the T-H-A-N-K-S button. It appears when you hover the mouse pointer near the Quote Multi-quote buttons. This is the proper way to show your thanks for the time and help someone gave you.

Sorry, forgot about the "thanks"
Useful stuff, will investigate.
Just realized the JVC is 1990 vintage, but it has a Disc to Tape function which I use.

Yes, 1990 predates MP3 by about 5-to-7 years, so it's not surprising that the JVC can't play the disc.

Good luck with the conversion. :)
