Radiators becoming very hot

I wonder if someone could please help.

I fitted a digital thermostat to my Avanta Remeha Plus combi boiler and now the radiators are becoming extremely hot. I've tried turning down the water temperature to 45 but to no avail.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards

when you say you are turning down the water temperature do you actually mean the water temperature or do you mean the heating temperature

Is your thermostat calling for heat as desired or has your boiler timer been reset and is set to constant?

If your boiler and timer have been turned off at the mains, when turned back on they could have reverted back to factory settings and could be always on so constantly providing heating regardless of what your thermostat is set at.
