Rainwater downpipe hopper vs straight downpipe

Hi,

I'm in the middle of replacing guttering on the front of my property.
Would it be better to replace the guttering like for like, including the hopper or could I use a downpipe branch with a stop end outlet for the door canopy gutter?
Total height of drop from main roof guttering will be 6 metre.

Didn't know whether there was a limit to the total drop

The hopper will make it easier to unblock the run in future. I'd replace the hopper as well
