In our Range Rover LSE 4.2, I'm getting clicking sounds at the front of the car when doing sharp bends and tight maneouvres. I've changed the CV joints and it's still happening. There are also some drips on the floor from where the front of the car has been parked. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Check level of power steering fluid- if it's low then top it up and check out your steering box. I had one go on me when I had a RR- cost about £200 to get a recon unit fitted.

Hi there - are the clicks high or low frequency? ie 'light' or 'heavy' sounds,

Has it got air suspension? We have the same car with this and there are all sorts of pumps (including the ABS etc) and as the pumps go on and off there are lots of clicks, and there appears to be no consistency as to when they come and go.

Certainly low speed clicks at full lock suggest CV's but you've already eliminated those.

Where are the drips - drivers side or passenger?.
Are they heavy or light oil?
If it's passenger side and lighter (thinner) oil it's PAS, if it's drivers side and thicker oil it's steering box.

I would agree with shaggy that it's PAS pump oil level poss low.

If you had the joints done by a garage they should have checked it out.
