Re doing sealant

Once the old sealant has been removed, if there's the odd bit here and there which I can't get off, but generally isn't in the way, would this be ok to seal over? So it isn't in the way as such, just some old sealant underneath, may come into contact with the new, but well below the surface. Thanks.

Why can't you get it off? Leaving any old sealant rarely doesn't end with a failure.

It's just some bits packed right into the inside edge. It's off the tile and bath nicely.

Should be Ok then. I would recommend that you wash the area down with meths or isopropyl alcohol first.
