Lawn is badly covered in moss. Plan to use moss killer then scarify. Will obviously leave large bare patches. A lot of products give different advice when to re-seed. HELP!!!! :?

My front garden 2x4 metres maybe, was badly covered in moss - I done it the hard way
Raked it all off - 3 bin bags full - Then spiked it - Then put new seed on it, all in one day.
Its come up OK now.
After doin all that someone told me about these electric rakes you can get - lol

Re-seed the bare patches and cover with this
If you're thinking of using seed, use 1 part of each, sharp sand, top soil and peat all mix up and laid on top of your seed. (this is also very good for flower bedding).
to a depth of 1/8" - 1/4". Also keep it moist. Should germinate and grow wonderfully.
