We are looking for advice for removing a lincrusta frieze in a Victorian house safely so it can be put back again once building work is complete.
The wall it is on is being removed and a RSJ going in behind where the lincrusta is currently,
We have removed the picture rail and thinking a flat blade behind it with dry heat or a wallpaper steamer to loosen the glue?
The lincrusta is quite thin which doesn't help, but been painted over many times we think.
