Looking for some advice please. I need to remove a section of joist that is sitting on the padstone of a newly built structural wall in order to fit a steel post. The issue I have is copper pipes that would prevent 4x2 or 6x2 noggins connecting joists either side of the joist to be cut away. The steel post base is 200mm in width which is just smaller than the padstone. I've attached some photos.

Drain and cut all the pipes. Do the work and then replumb.
