I'd like to replace this flash immermat programmer with something smart that can be controlled/programmed remotely. It only controls the immersion heater.

This is for Ireland so if I'm not mistaken the switch needs to be rated at 20A min.

Can anyone recommend something reliable/safe?

My internet browser will as default find UK sites, so to answer as to what is available in Ireland can't really help, here in the UK we look at two things, One is the tariff, the other is solar, we have timers designed to switch on with tariff changes, and inverter controls designed to monitor solar production and only use the excess solar, however the Willis system from Ulster has not really found its way to mainland UK, so we don't have devices designed to work with the Willis system.

Out of interest, I would love to learn how it can be controlled, but it is unique to Ireland, so here in mainland UK we are unlikely to see controllers designed to work with it.
