I am replacing downlights in a bathroom with proper bathroom downlights. Can anyone tell me what downlights would be a suitable replacement for the following please?

Also, are there any restrictions on having a bathroom spotlight above the shower end of an L-Shaped bath?

How high is the ceiling?
What are "proper" bathroom downlights?
What is the IP rating of the downlight you are thinking of fitting?

2.25 meters = 7 foot 4.582677 inches so to nearest foot that's 7 foot. So it will depend on those inches.

Sorry 0.424242 rods, poles or perches = 7 foot. So ceiling needs to be 0.447387 rods, poles or perches high.

I don't think the downlights fitted are supposed to be used in a bathroom. I'd like to fit IP65 downlights but wanted to know what would be easiest to change over based on what is already there.

IP44 will be fine for that location. Unless you were planning on using a pressure hose to clean the ceiling!

pick downlights that comply with Building regulations Part C. These prevent the passage of all your moist steamy air being sucked into your roof space.

Also think about how you are going to maintain any insulation that is up in the space above. Maybe find downlights that allow insulation to be placed over the light. I would go for LED downlights rather than halogen.
