Replacing fluorescent tube lighting with smart/dimmable led

Hi there.

I am currently messing round with Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi and am thinking about doing something about the fluorescent tube light in my kitchen.

Ideally, I want an led replacement that can do the following:

1. Come on automatically, at say 50%, as soon as HA predicts it is dark outside.
2. Able to ramp up the light beyond 50% when anyone needs to work in the kitchen (which is quite often, due to our having to work at home).
3. Ramp down to a minimal light, overnight, to keep the kitchen barely lit for security purposes.

Ultimately, are there any led light fittings that I can use to do a straight switch with?

Do you have any Zigbee stuff yet? You could get a CC2531 USB stick with aerial. Then use the IKEA panel lights and PIR.

Or convert to a pendant (or dimmable LED tubes) and use a shelly dimmer. This can also keep the light switch working- your will need some form of PIR to detect movement in the kitchen?

I am sure it can be done, I have three types of lighting control, one is Energenie with smart light switches, this I am sure allows the use of a PIR to switch the lights and can use IFTTT so can set lights to come on with geofencing, but simple on/off no dimming or colour changing.

The others all worked with SmartLife app on phone, some use zigbee and some are direct, in the main smart bulbs, but have got one smart relay, I want low level lighting on landing after we retire for night, but higher level until we retire, I don't want light to stay on when in bed, and I have tried voice control, but the simple Lidi emergency torch seems to work best, but not looking good, it lights the floor when I walk near it, enough to see where I am going, plus in a power cut it auto lights, but looks ugly the way it plugs into a socket, and the socket is really too low.
