I need to replace a couple of kitchen doors but don't know where the kitchen came from. Can anyone help based on the photos below please?

show us the front of the doors please.

Do you need the odd-shaped top handle?

how old do you think they are?

What are the dimensions?

Hi @JohnD And thanks for replying. The doors are 400mm x 720mm ( not counting the metal handles).

Here's photos from the front:

I'd like to keep the handles if possible.

400x720mm nominal is probably 396x 715mm actual, so the doors open and shut with clearance.

It looks to me like they are simple rectangular slab doors. Presumably either laminated (very hard finish, can be gloss or matt) or vinyl-wrapped (tends to peel off at the edges, especially if they get damp, or hot, or a cat scratches them)

If they are white, they will be very easy to match. You might find that modern ones have the hinge positions slightly different, but this is easy to get round by drilling new screwholes in the cabinet.

The handles may possibly have a fin that is pushed and glued into a slot on the top of the door (unless you know otherwise). You could probably replicate this if you have a circular saw. I've seen them readymade like that but AFAIK it is not a standard design.

Standard sized doors are cheapest from the manufacturers.

Can you work out if they are actually white; and if they are laminated, wrapped or painted? There are quite a variety of standard colours, but a special colour will be more expensive as the budget makers probably won't match it.

here are a couple of examples (I have used Benjamin James before, currently furloughed, they matched my Egger laminates). You can see some of the available colours on link below* They are expensive for small orders due to carriage charges. There is a firm that will cut and edge laminated board to your dimensions and colour, very nice quality, I thought. I think it was Trade Kitchens EU. link below. They send you a spreadsheet to fill in your dimensions and calculate the price. Ask for thick edging for max durability.

some people swear by DIYKitchens, which I have not used.

A High Street showroom might charge extra.
