I have a Honeywell Galaxy 48 system with a defective battery.
I'm going to replace it but now have "engineer reset required" showing on the panel because it set a lot of battery faults in quick succession.
The original installer is no longer in business so I can't get them to fix it. Could someone tell me the process for resetting the engineer code so I can clear the fault and get it setting normally again. I've seen examples for other systems involving shorting one of the zones and wanted to check if that was relevant to this model.
Thanks.
J
