My builder has laid a resin bound patio to replace my tired looking slabs this week. The result is a complete disaster. It looks like a patchwork quilt!

I know my builder isn't a resin bound specialist, but he has laid 5 or 6 of these before, including one for my in-laws, which looks perfect. My builder says he doesn't know why it's like this and he's spoken to the supplier and they're suggesting it's all in the application.

I don't know, I just know that I've paid a lot of money to have this done, and it looks awful.

Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to fix this?

Did he do it in over several days or was it laid in one go?
And it's not up to you to fix it I should think, it should be the guy who laid it who fixes things.

It was all laid in one go. Done in a day. Builder is obviously keen to right it too, but not sure what the options are. I certainly wouldn't want him to lay it again!

I am no expert but it looks like the stuff was in batches and he didn't mix them up to get a consistent colour
