Risco Agility 3 - device fault - com. module (gsm) - help required please

Hi guys,

I’ve had this agility 3 installed since 2015 and the gsm module was installed in 2018..

gsm module has been working well all this time however since this august 2023, keep getting this on risco app and email alerts:

App shows fault:

device fault - com. module (gsm)

Email states:

Event Device Fault - Com. Module (GSM) occurred at your system at 22/09/2023 18:43:00

Happens every few hours..

Have noticed operating alarm through gsm now is temperamental - sometimes it works I.E. sets and sometimes it doesn’t work (when texting it..)

It’s got a giffgaff (o2 network) sim in it with credit.

Can I see further logs? Logged in as installer but the event logs show similar: gsm availability..(can take picture of it)

The RSSI level is showing as Low but that has always been like that as main panel is under the stairs storage area…

Should I take the module off and reseat it perhaps?

Any help would be appreciated.

if you have credit, I would use the online checker to check the status of the O2 service in your area in the first instance.

not sure if you be able to buy a new replacement module if it was faulty,
