Hi there
Ive seen a few posts here but seem to provide enough detail to help me.
I’m keen to to replace our current Risco Agility 3 system and want to know how i go about powering down the system without any of the alarms being triggered.
I have the engineers code if that helps.
I’m hoping theres some settings that allow me to turn the system off so i disconnect and remove everything.
Thanks
Ian

P.s if anyone here is keen to buy my system, do let me know.

Turn power off to control panel.
Remove batteries from bell box, then remove batteries from all wireless devices.
This will only take a few minutes.

But be aware that until you do remove the battery from the bell box it will trigger the anti-tamper alarm.
Don't want you falling off the ladder at the sudden noise. ;-)

So this is the order of actions:
1. Put alarm in service mode (not sure how to do this but hopefully someone can point me in the direction)
2. Turn control panel off
3. Remove bell box batteries (though I’m guessing the anti tamper will kick in after I have removed cover and won’t stop until I have removed batteries)
4. Remove batteries from PIRS

Is this correct?

Cheers for everyone’s help so far.

It should be in the user manuals.

But enter your grand master code and select service mode.
When the system is in service mode you should be able to disconnect everything.

why do you want to change the system?

Servicing has just gone up to 140 so I’m thinking of getting a Ring gen3 that i can maintain and change batteries on etc.

Well that is your choice and not the only person to go diy.

The parts do have second hand value as some of the parts are no longer available for the Agility 3.

put into service mode and you can maintain the system yourself????

I was thinking that but time for an upgrade and one that doesnt cost me every year
Cheers for your help.

Ring, upgrade, hmm, guessing for normal alarm use they dont charge an annual fee thought they did if its cloud app based.

dont fit ring and to be fair haven't fitted Risco for a while either.
