Hi everyone,
I recently had some roof work done. I’ve had concrete dug out and dry verge put on the side of the roof.
When I look at the final bit of dry verge nearest to the gutter it doesn’t sit flush to the roof. Do you think this will cause any issues? I’m worried rain could get in and rot the rafters. If I look at it from an upstairs window I can see sunlight coming in through the gap.
He also put the lead flashing over the verge so there is now a gap there. Do you think this will cause a problem? I asked him to come back and sort the flashing and he neatened it up a bit but there is still a gap there… when I questioned him about it he said it would be fine.
Any help would be much appreciated.
