Room temp. Control vaillant boiler fix?

Hi guys my first post on this forum hope i get prompt reply and help from diy experts.i have turbomax vuw plus 824e boiler fitted in my new house.there is no timer or room temp. Controller can u guys pkease advise me which controller is compatible with this boiler and installation instructions aswell please!

Put the cover back on and get a pro to advice and carry out the task.
Else go ahead and tinker as you are more likely to kill that PCB which will hit the pocket hard

Not DIY you can do. working on that boiler and its controls requires a lot of knowledge that cannot be obtained from DIY forums.

Nothing wrong with DIYing this as there is no access needed to combustion chamber and no ill effects of connecting to the PCB as there will be no adjustments made to gas critical components.

@Sahib consider a wireless programmable room stat for easy, quickness and tidyness if installation. Something along the lines of a Honeywell DT92E will do the trick although cheaper alternatives are available (Plumb Centre do a rebadged version of this same stat)

Place the room stat wherever you like preferably in the most used room and the TRV in this room (if fitted) will need to be disabled.

Place receiver near the boiler and wire mains power to the receiver from the switched spur and then wire the receiver (connections A and B) to the boiler (connections 3 and 4 on the terminal strip on the PCB there will be an existing link across 3 and 4 already and this needs to be removed) A to 3 and B to 4.

Power up, set your program and you are away. Should take all of 45 minutes.

Other installation instructions may apply depending on the stat you choose but would need to know that when you have got the stat.

Guys really helpful forum but some senior member discouraging comments put me off...i found a solution as i kept searching on internet. I came to know that there is front blank panel if u takr it ofg there is 4pin socket thing in which u can plug in timer part.which u can order online and i have ordered it as wirless thermostat dont work with this and other options were expensive too.but for now timer will save me money aswell

A timer alone actually won't save you that much money as you will be turning it off and on just as much as you were before as you have no temperature control. The only time you will probably save much is if you had forgotten to turn it off before you went out.

The internal timeswitches on these aren't great either and as I suggested there are cheaper alternatives to the wireless programmable stat and I'd hazard a guess that you could have picked one of these up for the same if not less than the slot in timer.

You can find installation instructions for your boiler here. You will find the wiring instructions on pages 32 to 36. All of the information is there to enable someone competent to add a thermostat / programmer etc., If you are not able to understand it, then this task is probably outside of your ability and should be left to a professional. On the other hand, if all is clear go ahead, you have everything you need there.

Please guide me once more l have got honeywell 900 and its just got thermostat control its not rf controller.
In the manual it says a and b switch connection that i understand but here it shows that u need to connect A to C in honey well......am i right or just confused......and please tell me i can see only 2 core wire is going to be used with blue and brown color is brown going yo be inserted in A. Or it dont matter
