Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Draft Bill

She is trying to get a lawyer to help her sort it out.

Our Tories object to lawyers who try to help with "immigration" problems.

99% of immigrants are economic migrants or else why would thet leave safe countries ie:- Spain Italy Greece France Belgium etc to get here.

85% are sucessful asylum seekers.
I can provide proof of my figures.
You'd be extremly embarrassed trying to find evidence for your claim.

To answer your question:
Zoe Gardiner blows away the argument "France is a safe country they should stay there"

oh dear the Daily Mail headbangers will be exploding, the poor things wont be able to cope with logic

enough said.

Her answer is "because they want to".

I fail to see how that blows away the argument.

It can be true that they can both find a reason to flee and also come here for economic reasons.

I see you refuse to watch the explanation.

If you read The Wail often enough, you will find lot's of unsavoury reasons why 'swarms' migrants choose the UK. However, if you want a truthful overall picture, the lady in that clip explains it slowly and succinctly - so that even elderly hatred filled Tory gammons can understand it.

Must be a different clip.
Q: If they are legitimate refugees, why are they not claiming asylum in France, Italy etc.

She says 86% stop in a safe neighbouring place - wasn't the question, but thanks for the info
France takes 3X more claimants than UK - she says - but she is wrong.*
Then she basically says its because they want to and that the system would fail if we pushed back to her so called "toddler argument" (other source) that who ever touched it last has to deal with it.

*Source UNHCR - In the year ending September 2021, Germany received the highest number of asylum applicants (127,730) in the EU+, followed by France (96,510). When compared with the EU+ for the same period, the UK received the 4th largest number of applicants (44, 190 – including main applicants and dependents).

France has an approval rate of 25%, UK 70% = 24,128 vs 30,933 23% more not 2/3rd less.

Are you surprised there are differences in numbers - arriving - claiming or applying - being granted?

As a group of similarly placed, financially advanced nations, the UK takes in the least. Always has lagged behind Germany and France etc. I'm sure you feel no shame though.
