Hi All,
Very long story short. 7-year old fridge freezer stopped working. Engineer tested the standing pressure of the compressor which read 1 bar. Said there is a refrigerant leak and advised us to replace the machine rather than the compressor. He said the standing pressure (couldn't check the working pressure as the compressor had seized) should have been 2.5 bar.
Does that sound about right?
Cheers
