Morning all,
I’m sanding a narrow (~1.0 metre wide) landing with the floorboards running perpendicular. I’m using a Makita belt sander and Bosch multi sander for the edges.
I’ve been sanding with the grain but really need to go across with 40 grit paper to remove the last of the muck and flatten a few high spots. Working at 45 degrees doesn’t really work in the space I have, is it ok to run at 90 degrees with 40 grit?
Cheers.
