I had my sash window repaired because it was rotten
I did think of using wet rot hardener and then wood filler but was persuaded to replace the bottom section
I paid £700 labour and it took two days. With material it was an extra £200 and I am not so happy
Is this acceptable to people on here? The wood was meranti and glued with polyurethane. He had to cut to size and route in a channel for the glass which took time but I was not happy with the finish. The wood at the front of the window is not flush with the rest of the window
