Hello, I have the old Scantronic 9200, it works very well but the bell box have given up.
I have purchased a Pryonix plus.
The Scantronic output is 5 wires.
TRIG +
TRIG -
OV
TAMPER
Relay N.O. Contact to Strobe.

The Pryonix has 5 wire connection To the later version Scantronic 9600.
STR to STB.
BELL to BELL.
12V+ to 12V+.
OV to 12V-.
TR to T.
Between BELL & 12V+ is a 4K7 resistor

With my 9200.
TRIG + ?
TRIG - ?
OV to 12V -.
TR to T.
Relay N.O. Contact STB.

Do I require the 4K7 resistor or other value?
Many thank In advance.
Best regards,
Phill.

Is it a G3 or G2 delta bell ?
You shouldn’t need the 4.7k resistor on a G2 unit , also are you saying you only have a 4 core to the bellbox ? If so you can link the bell trigger to the strobe trigger at the bellbox

Hello many thanks for quick reply. It doesn’t specify which though wiring guide says Grade 2/3. Suppose could be used either 2 or 3.
Receipt description. Pyronix Deltabell-X with Lightbox External Live Bellbox DELTABELLX.
I since physically checked and there is 5, one from N.O. Relay to Strobe.
TRIG - ?
TRIG + ?

Must be a 6 core cable as they do t do a 5 core ….on the 9200 the strobe is via a relay ….so see where one side is fed from ( normally it’s negative switched BUT with a relay it could be either ) post picture of 9200 pcb …

Many thanks, will change it out next week.
Have a good weekend.
