Can anyone help on this.
I have a Santronic 9452 control panel and an ADE Sonade 2000 external Sounder/Strobe.
How are they interconnected ?
The Sonade 2000 has the connections
T (Tamper Return)
E (Tamper Feed)
A (-ve supply 0V)
D (+ve supply 12V)
B (-Ve applied sounder trigger 0V)

The Scantronic 9452 has
STR
BEL
12V
0V
TR
O/P
12v Aux
0V Aux
SIG
LS
LS
E/T

I can see from the manual that LS go to the internal Speaker and E/T to the keyswitch (External Terminator).

As for the bellbox I am confused. :oops:

TIA
Bernard

you also have it wrong regarding the keyswitch, but never mind

a = 0v
d = 12v
b = bel
t = tr
e = 0v

(yes that is right 2 wires in 0v)

That's brilliant - thanks a lot.
Maybe you can also tell me where the tamper loop starts/ends.
The installation manual is not clear at all, it does not show the tamper loop connections.
On the right hand side you have the 4 zone connectors and also three others.
PA
A/T and
EE

I assume the PA is for a Personal Attack button.
What is A/T and EE ? Is A/T the tamper loop ?

I also assume that the PIR's are fed from 12V and 0V Aux

If your panel has T A D B connections, then E & A are usually linked out at the Sonade.

i said that but suggested do this at the panel end. :wink:

its not actualy linked out, it is to put a -ve supply on the tampper return.

Thanks guys you have been brilliant (again).
I can now try and get the system running, but on the bench first I think :lol:
It's only for the garage/w'shop and another garden shed.

Thanks again

Bernard

Thanks for the idea Breezer :?: :idea:
Maybe 3 now as there are two rooms in the garage :P :P

Mbe not though as I have underground pipework between the garage and the shed (shack) where I used to run VHF antenna coax (Ham Radio - GW0LDZ)
