Theres an idea i never thought off, thanksIf there's another bolt holding the grille on then take that out and measure it/take it to B&Q for a matching replacement.

Going to local village store ( blacksmiths ) they are the old fashion type they have almost everythingBriggs engine?
Usually a 3/16" or 5/32" UNC flange headed screw.......often I find almost anything screwed in!
Any horticultural machine centre will fix you up.
