SE15 - Heating works on when the Hot Water is on

I have an SE15 Boiler, and a Alpha 2 Pump connected to the tank.

last week, I knocked the cable on the Alpha 2 pump, it knocked the power off, and I had to rewire the power socket to the pump.

Now I can't get the heating on, unless the hot water is working. (I don't think the heating gets up to temp though).

Any ideas what I should be doing?

Show us some pics of how you have " rewired the power socket to the pump".
Is your system Y plan ,with a mid position valve ( 3 port valve) ? Or S plan with more than one motorised valve ?

When I say rewire, I knocked the wires out of the female port. So wired them back in, which was a L/N/E connection.
