C crank39 Joined 1 Dec 2009 Messages 5,851 Reaction score 1,334 Location Nationwide Country 26 Sep 2023 #2 Looks like they used silicone but it doesn't like to stick to smooth surfaces so I used to get the point of a new Stanley knife blade and score some cross hatches in the back of the end cap, helps the silicone to grip something
