Setting up Honeywell GX remote app

I hooked up GX remote and I can set unset the alarm, view logs etc from my phone. I am trying to set up push notifications but fail at the registration part on my phone.

I can register without a panel account and everything seems fine but I never get any confirmation email.I can get the account number but when I add this to the system is won’t send notifications. Can anyone help?
 
I think you need to confirm the email, so you need to receive that for the push to work.

There's always selfmon for apps and reporting :)
 
Problem is you never get an email to confirm so it’s never going to work for anyone new! how can a company the size of Honeywell not maintain an app

what’s selfmon and what does that offer compered to the Honeywell app?
 
The GX app and push notification service is a free unsupported service. Selfmon has a free app, but the supported messaging costs £1 a month and includes more features like path polling, push, SMS, Voice, e-mail and filtering.
