Sewage treatment plant

Hi we are looking into replacing our old brick septic tank with a modern electric sewage treatment plant to meet new regs.

One question I have though is how loud is the average treatment plant? We want to have it fairy close to our boundary so conscious we don’t want it too loud that it will annoy our neighbour's

The one by us is a faint hum , we have no issues with it.

If you are talking about a biodisc, they use very little power and should be almost silent. If it's buried in the bottom of your garden, you won't know it's there.
