Wasn't sure whether to put this into "DIY disasters" .
Basically I've built my shed base about 70mm away from the boundary. Now the boundary is only about 2M long because it is to an electricity substation. As those far more experienced that I will know, that is a problem as the roof overhang may "encroach" their land. Now with it being owned by the leccy board maybe nobody will care but still a niggle.
So I suppose the question is how small can you go with a roof overhang? Ideally, the pent roof will be sloped towards that boundary. Probably going to be a felt roof.
Other than chopping my base up what else could I do to rectify this ? Maybe bring the wall in a few inches - that would leave an exposed bit of floor but nobody would see it but guess it would rot away in no time if I did that.
