Hard Wax is a type of wax that only becomes 'liquid' if made warm. It is supplied in a tin and you use a kind a scraper to apply it to the surface you are treating. Buffing ('elbow grease') the wax makes it more liquid so it can penetrate and/or cover the surface.
Hard wax is more resistent against drips then the waxpolishes which are more liquid on their own.
