Shower element puzzle

I have a Creda 950DL 9.5kw shower, approximately 8 years old. About two years ago the medium element light went out and the water ran cold if I had it set to medium. For the past two years it’s only been working on one element, meaning I had to set it to high to get any hot water. Puzzlingly a couple of days ago the medium light came on and the element started heating water again! Should I be worried or is there a plausible explanation for this?

Doubt you need to "worry" about it but I would suggest you get it checked. It could be just a poor connection that will start giving you problems again in the future.

Eight years old.....good length of service....get a new shower .....really it's worth it.
