Hi folks,

I'm trying to replace a shower mixer as it's leaking little bit and a hose is somehow stuck in it, no matter how much I try to turn a "nut" either way, it's just stays in same position.

I've taken it down from a wall, but for my surprise, there is some weirdly sized fittings. I took it to my close plumber supplier and he's never seen anything like that saying it's not BSP. I'd like to obviously just replace the mixer. Changing the fittings is most likely beyond my DIY capability.

I'd say it's just any standard shower mixer (made by Hansgrohe), but apparently not.
I'm trying last two hours to google it what model it is (so I could just get exactly same one) or if there is an adapter or something what might help to just use any regular mixer with 1/2" BSP, but with no luck.

Any one please who could help to identify it or some ideas how to finish the job using some adapters etc ?

Have a look please attached images.

Be surprised if it’s not a standard size same as any bar shower , should be a straight swop for any of the readily available ones.

At 33mm diameter that thread is definitely not the usual 3/4in BSP ,the external diameter of that is close to 26 mm.
Is it definitely made by hansgrohe ? You could try to contact them if it is .

1. Outside diameter of 1" BSP is 33.25 mm.
2. Fitting looks like one of those "dog leg" fittings used to adjust for pipe centres. However, I've never seen one with flats on the diameter.
3. Could it be a standard dog leg fitting with a 3/4" internal, 1" external, thread adaptor?
4. Might be worth trying to unscrew the part with the flats to see if it is an adaptor. No too hard in case you loosen the fitting within the wall.

yeah it's hansgrohe, the logo on top of the mixer is clear, unfortuntaly there is no type/model number etc...

I tried to gently unscrew it with no success, I'm not sure what's on the other side, so didn't want to go "full power" and break it somehow.
There is no "close only this shower" valve and I don't want to get myself into state of emergency when I have to close main house valve and have no water at all.

It's deffo not a 1" BSP, I have a cap, but it doesn't fit it, this ^ thread is slightly bigger than 1".

What could the other side look like ?
Looking for example bathroom sink, there is I'd say standard plastic pipe 15mm diam.
